Yes sure!
First create your (service) area.
Now make a new map where you add your catchment area. You can do this by searching on the name when the wizzard ask you to search for an area.
Open your map in the Mapalizer and get started right away adding (detailed) area characeristics filters.
Tip! Follow the steps when creating a new map and also add a base location!
